January 19, 2009 - Honoring Coretta Scott King Vs. Loyd Jowers (1999) on Martin Luther King Day

Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated April 4th, 1968, a year to the day after giving his incendiary "Beyond Vietnam" speech in New York City, April 4th, 1967, in which he explained why he opposed the Vietnam War. He outlined 5 suggestions for ending the war and spoke of those who make peaceful revolution impossible.

He asked for a reordering of our priorities, so that the pursuit of peace had precedence over the pursuit of war. He wanted a positive revolution of values and wanted the US to stop it’s participation in the United Nations. He wanted us to be on the right side of the world revolution and didn’t like the negative campaign against communism, preferring positive offensive action to tackle domestic issues like hunger.

The day before his assassination, April 3,1968, King gave a speech in Memphis, TN, entitled “I’ve Been to the Mountain Top”, in which he spoke of an oscillating Lincoln, deciding if he should sign the Emancipation and FDR's 1933 speech, in which we have nothing to fear but fear itself. That only when it is dark enough, can you see the stars. That it is no longer a choice between non-violence and violence, but between non-violence or non-existence .... That we have to stay together and maintain unity, for the threats were out there, from our sick white brothers.

He expressed fearlessness, almost knowing the end of his life was near, revealing.... “I may not get there with you, but we as a people will get to the promise land”. He wanted to reassure the people it was going to be alright. He reassured the crowd, that it really doesn’t matter to him now, because he’s been to the mountain top and I doesn’t mind. That like everyone, he would like to live, but that God has allowed him to look out over the mountain.

He reminded us that the pharoahs prolonged slavery in Egypt, by keeping the slaves fighting among themselves. But whenever the slaves get together, told King ...when the slaves get together, that’s the beginning of getting out of slavery ...for there’s a certain kind of fire that no water can extinguish out, said King. ....That we have to give ourselves to this struggle until the end; nothing would be more tragic than to stop ....because either we go up together or we go down together. …Within 24 hours of this speech, a single snipper's bullet caught King in the jaw, blowing off a part of his neck and exposing his spinal cord. The bullet traveled down his spinal cord and lodged in his shoulder. Dr. Martin Luther King had been a controversial figure!

The FBI had started tracking King in 1957. The FBI’s investigations were largely superficial until 1962, when they learned that one of King's most trusted advisers was New York City lawyer Stanley Levison, who the FBI had found to be involved with the Communist Party USA. As a result, the Bureau placed wiretaps on Levison's and King's home and office phones, and wiretapped King's rooms in hotels as he traveled across the country. In deed, after King gave his "I Have A Dream" speech during the March on Washington on August 28, 1963, the FBI described King as "the most dangerous and effective Negro leader in the country" ....it was a matter of national security now! They wanted him to withdraw from his civil rights leadership position. The Bureau received authorization to proceed with wiretapping from Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy in 1963, informing President John F. Kennedy, of whom unsuccessfully tried to persuade King to dissociate himself from Levison,.

By the day of his assassination at the Lorraine Motel, Army Intelligence had been watching King, and had deployed "Alpha 184 Special Forces team" to Memphis that day, in Operation Detachment, to watch King (the Army has denied this). As Jesse Jackson recollects, hundred of police were in the area and they claim they didn’t see anybody.... Hoover's FBI, Army Intelligence agents, and Memphis police were all watching King from surrounding positions; a government task force, where they all had jobs to do on a need to know basis. ….If the mobs contract killer failed, a back-up unit was there to finish the job. The hired snipper didn’t fail and two fingerprints were found on the rifle and nowhere else in the apartment. They were traced to James Earl Ray, who had just escaped a Missouri prison.

James Earl Ray was captured two months after King's death, at London Heathrow Airport. He was quickly extradited to Tennessee and charged with King's murder. After crimes dating back to 1949, Ray was sentenced to 20 years, for being a habitual offender in 1959. In 1967, he escaped and was captured in 1968. He confessed to King’s assassination on March 10, 1969, on the advice of his attorney Percy Foreman, pleading guilty to avoid a trial conviction and thus the possibility of receiving the death penalty. Ray recanted this confession three days later, claiming that a man he met in Montreal, using the alias "Raoul" had been deeply involved, as was his brother Johnny, but not himself. He further asserted that although he didn't "personally shoot Dr. King," he may have been "partially responsible without knowing it," hinting at a conspiracy. Ray was sentenced to a 99-year prison term. He spent the remainder of his life attempting (unsuccessfully) to withdraw his guilty plea and secure the trial he never had. In fact, on June 10, 1977, Ray testified to the House Select Committee on Assassinations that he did not shoot King,

It's possible James Earl Ray was a patsy, used to take the fall. But regardless of his role in the assassination, James Earl Ray was denied a new trial, and died waiting in jail. Believing in his client’s innocence, James Earl Ray’s attorney, William F. Pepper, initiated a civil, wrongful death case against Memphis retaurant owner and mob go-between, Loyd Jowers, on behalf of the King family. Loyd Jowers had claimed years earlier, that he had been approached to assassinate Martin Luther King, and was to provide the rifle to the shooter. Although Loyd Jowers was in failing health and unable attend the trial, the new case was tried in 30 days, in 1999, using 70 witnesses.

A reading of the final minutes of the trail reveals the jury returns a verdict were Loyd Jowers is liable and Memphis police, mobsters and possibly the US government were involved. Everyone wanted a single assassin racist, but James Earl Ray’s lawyer William F. Pepper, proved that a conspiracy of US government agencies facilitated the mob hit. James Earl Ray was vindicated in 1999. William Pepper claims he got justice for his client and peace for the Kings.

In memory of Martin Luther King Day, and on the eve of Obama's troubling ascension to the Presidency, I honor Dr. Martin Luther King's civil rights legacy, by providing the last minutes of this revealing 1999 case ...to, as King said, be on the right side of the world revolution!

THE COURT: I have authorized this gentleman here to take one picture of you which I'm going to have developed and make copies and send to you as I promised. Okay. All right, ladies and gentlemen. Let me ask you, do all of you agree with this verdict?

THE JURY: Yes (In unison).

THE COURT: In answer to the question did Loyd Jowers participate in a DANIEL, DILLINGER, DOMINSKI, RICHBERGER, WEATHERFORD ...conspiracy to do harm to Dr. Martin Luther King, your answer is yes. Do you also find that others, including governmental agencies, were parties to this conspiracy as alleged by the defendant? Your answer to that one is also yes. And the total amount of damages you find for the plaintiffs entitled to is one hundred dollars. Is that your verdict?

THE JURY: Yes (In unison).

In 2000, the United States Department of Justice completed an investigation about Jowers' claims. Perhaps, not surprisingly, the investigation report found no evidence to support allegations about the conspiracy and recommended no further investigation, unless some new reliable facts are presented...

Lest we forget, King asked that we develop a dangerous unselfishness ….and raise up some vital matters of life!

September 25, 2008 - Invoking An Emergency to Pass Through...

At 10:15am today, while in my studio, I heard my housemate Nina yell out at me... "Marcela, there's a police officer with a dog coming up our driveway". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He walked right up our driveway, opened the back gate, and walked into our backyard, no questions asked, looking around. I ran back for my camera. I got him as he walked across our front lawn, en route to the next house. I made my presence known, clicking away with my camera.

He didn't seem to go down any more driveways, after I ran out to document. He just kept walking. I turned around and 10 cop cars and two motorcycle cops lined the nearest intersection. You'd think someone robbed the nearest bank, but no, there was trouble at a store down the road. Nothing like an emergency to strip us of our rights.

September 17, 2008 - The Memory of Our Constitution Sustains Me on Constitution Day!

Our soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, are undermining our US constitution. We need to support them, in standing up for their need to protect the US constitution, and protect them, by not putting them in harms way.

September 11, 2001 - The Evidence of Explosions Is Undeniable!

WTC 1 & 2 experienced massive explosions in the sub-basements, as the base of the core columns were weakened, at least 8 seconds before explosions to the upper part of the buildings, focused our attention. In deed, angled cuts were left by the shaped charges on the core columns of all three buildings, including WTC 7, indicating demolition pre-weakening. After the sub-basement explosions, the building was brought down, top down, in waves of explosions. A slow-motion review of the North Tower collapse shows that the antenna falls 1/2 a second before the rest of the building falls, evidence of core failure, and there is smoke on the roof from initial explosions. The top 20 floors are reduced to 2/3 their height, before the demolition wave starts traveling down the building. We see new flames at the start of the explosions and the top is pulverized, disappearing in a cloud of debri, providing no pile driver, for the collapse of the rest of the building. As the building falls, a demolition wave with extreme heat ensues, as multiple independent explosions blow the mass of the building outside the building's footprint. In deed, there were no cracks or evidence of buckling in the warped steel core columns found; rather, oddly reformed steel.

The Twin Towers were FORCED to come down through their path of greatest resistance; through the 41 steel core columns, which were designed and constructed with a 20 to 1 ratio of strength. Even though the Twin Towers were overbuilt, they fell faster than free fall speed. Faster than if you had dropped a bowling ball or a penny from the top of each building, with no resistance to them as they fell through the air, on their way down to hit the ground. In deed, each tower fell in LESS then 10 seconds. With this, we are expected to believe that 41 steel core columns, bolted and welded down, the trunk of the towers, designed to withstand multiple airliners hitting it at multiple locations (this is a fact!), individually ejected, even piercing surrounding buildings, giving way to a complete collapse. This is evidence of an explosive collapse, not a gravitational collapse. And in fact, the compound force of all of the explosions was soo tremendous, and the extreme heat soo great, a crater was generated at the base. In deed, over an acre of concrete flooring was turned into toxic dust, and the hardest materials (i.e. windows, glass, structural steel, gypsum, marble) were vaporized, yet surprisingly, a passport was found on a neighboring building's rooftop, over a year later...Please!

There were explosions throughout the buildings, causing molten lava to flow for 3 to 4 weeks after all three buildings fell. Traces of thermite and thermate, were found in the molten lava of all three buildings, even though WTC Bldg #7 fell around 5:30pm; some 7 hours after WTC 1 & 2 fell. Police officers and the fire chief started giving orders around Noon/1pm, that people distance themselves from WTC 7, because it was due to experience explosions.... Over one hundred people from FEMA had arrived the day before to participate in a "drill" on 9-11. Giuliani went on tv and talked about the buildings coming down 10 minutes before the first. George W. Bush, when asked about the first plane hitting the twin tower, while at the elementary school, said he'd seen the plane hit the tower, and had thought it was an accident. The only problem is, the video hadn't been released to the public yet. Either he saw the planes hit the towers in private (CIA tv?), before the video feed was released to the public, or no planes hit the buildings, and he began the narrative, the myth of 9-11... the narrative, the myth of hijacked planes taken over by Middle Eastern terrorists. Then it was Fox News that said, hours after "the planes hit", they were 99% sure Al Qaida was responsible for this. And after 3 days, they knew the names of the "19 terrorists", even though none were on the flight manifests and some are still alive.

The Shock-and-Awe we were fed, were explosions and visual deception, and a strong case can be made, that no airplanes hit the Twin Towers. A review of the live news feed of the planes hitting the towers, will show that it sharply differs from the replay shown in the evening. In one case, one of the airplanes goes straight through the building, partially exiting on the other side, and is then backed up back into the building. Futhermore, where was NORAD? There was an abscence of aerial defense, for over an hour. But were there airline airplanes to intercept?

I am more convinced now, especially after the explosions in London and Madrid, and the acts of aggression against Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran, that the "terrorist" attacks that took place September 11, 2001, were a coordinated international intelligence operation, involving the Bush administration (Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz), the Pentagon, the CIA, the FBI, the NSA and British Intelligence. The list involves the New World Order/One World Government cartel, the true terrorists. And in order for this to have been pulled off, news directors and airline personnel, had to of been involved; David Rockefeller counts on this very thing, as he's famously quoted. The CIA has been doing this for years through Operation Mockingbird, and it's control of the media. It worries me deeply that US Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), at a Town Hall meeting February 21, 2008, said, when questioned by a 9-11 truth seeker in the audience, that he sat in on the Intelligence Committee, and does not share the sentiment that this was an inside job. I'm reminded that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are two factions of the same party.

Regarding the other airplanes, it is absolutely inconceivable that an airliner crashed into the Pentagon, but we are to believe that wings hit the Pentagon, although no impression was left on the walls, leaving every single tall light post in it's way, untouched. In deed, that area of the Pentagon had been under recent construction, and the construction equipment left in front of that section of the Pentagon, was completely intact even after the "plane" hit, yet we are to believe that the entire airplane dissolved on impact, taking the massive wings and engines with it. While, conveniently, a passport was found later...Please! There is no evidence of airplane wreckage, for a plane of that size. In fact, the initial evidence was a 16 foot hole in the Pentagon with no roofline damage. However, 33 minutes after initial impact, explosions were heard, followed by the collapsed of that section of the Pentagon. The only video released 4 years after the attack, shows conclusively that a missile is traveling parallel to the ground, towards the Pentagon. There is no plane coming down from the sky.

Furthermore, the scar on the ground, caused by the airline we're to believe went down in Pennsylvania, looks nothing like an airliner crash, but rather, like a missile hit the ground. Again, like with the Pentagon, there is no evidence of airline wings or engines and we're expected to believe that the entire airplane dissolved on impact.

We need to rationally deal with all of this physical evidence and demand an independent investigation with subpoena power, for we all know what we saw... but need to know what really happened... And while the questions are numerous, ominous and concerning, we must lean into our fear and move forward together.

August 8, 2008 - A Promise at Lunch!

A year and one day after securing www.americansustainability.com (7-7-07), I recommit to the clarion call of Day of Destiny: Where Will You Be August 13, 1999, for we've been set-up to take a great fall, and so must decide our own future. In deed, the power of our thoughts will determine our future.

We must lean into our fear, plant seeds based on love, and know that the answer to everything, is rebuilding community.
